Valentine’s Day: Miss FD releases single and video for “Cry For You (Haunted)”

For all of us who have loved, and lost...

On February 14th, Valentine's Day 2013, Miss FD commemorates the three-year mark of the loss of the person who inspired the album Love Never Dies, as well as the two-year anniversary of the album's release, with the debut of a new performance of the track "Cry For You".

Entitled "Cry For You (Haunted)", this version features a haunting piano performance by Robert Dante, and is accompanied by a nostalgic music video directed by Adam Alvarez, filmed at Hollywood Events, in Hollywood, FL.

Continuing the same holiday tradition of last year's spooky single "Love Magick" (and its zombie-filled music video), dark electro-pop artist Miss FD has brewed up another Halloween treat in the form of the playfully wicked gothpop track "Down in the Dungeon".

Featuring original cover art by comic book artist Chandra Free (THE GOD MACHINE), the single will also be accompanied by a music video, premiering October 1st on FEARnet.com. The video was produced by Adam Alvarez, who also helmed the "Love Magick" clip, as well as videos for FD's "Moment of Fade" and "Infatuated".

Miss FD took her dark electro sound in a whole new direction by turning up the heat with the release of the electro-rock single "Infatuated", a siren song that weaves her trademark pulsing beats & sensual melodies with the threatening guitar licks of Robert Dante. Now FD and director Adam Alvarez have summoned up the enticing visuals for that track, blending the futuristic sheen of black latex with a vintage backdrop of Gothic scarlet to seduce the eye as well as the ear. Lauderdale-based electro/industrial artist Miss FD - who established a solid footing in the Florida goth/industrial club scene and recorded two albums (Reference Version and Assimilation Illusion) under the project known as Frightdoll - has officially launched a new venture, beginning with the single "Together Forever."

As FD's fanbase continues to expand - extending beyond US shores to include a strong European following - fans on both sides of the pond will be thrilled to know that the multi-faceted artist has channeled her creative vision into a brand new incarnation.

The deliberately light-hearted dance track "Together Forever" is more tongue-in-cheek than most of FD's earlier, more haunting works, while remaining true to the darkly seductive vibe that helped gain her international recognition.
